Woodland cemetery was planned prior to the incorporation of the town of ‘Fort Des Moines’ in 1851.
Today it totals 65 acres. Our tour will be conducted by a professional guide and will last about 2 ½ hours. 

For those who joined us on our previous cemetery tour this is not the same place or the same guide.

The tour will start at 10:00 AM October 4th 2025 from the main entrance of the cemetery .

The cost is (lucky)now free person

Attendance is limited and tickets must be purchased before October 1 at

This event is open to any friends or relatives you may wish to invite.

Lunch is not included, but those wishing to go to lunch afterwards
will pick a restaurant in the area at the completion of the tour.
