Humanist Society members and friends –

The November meeting of the Humanist Society of Iowa will be a Zoom session at 7:00 PM this coming Tuesday, November 17.  The speaker will be Mark Stringer, Executive Director of the ACLU of Iowa.  He will be giving us an update on ACLU activities and what lies ahead, especially with the ongoing struggle to maintain separation of church and state.  This will be a joint meeting with the UUS Secular Humanists of Iowa City, and SecSI (Secular Students at Iowa).  It will be a great opportunity to network with the Iowa City humanist group and to hear what is on the minds of Iowa City students.  Plan to join us for what promises to be a very interesting evening!  Contact Al Powers at Humanist@ucdsm.org with any questions.

Feel free to invite your friends!
